A little about Charlotte...
In mid-August, Hunter and I took a Carnival Cruise trip out of New Orleans. Before boarding the boat, I bought (out of faith), a baby onsie, thinking I might surprise Hunter with it if that was our lucky month. On the last day of the cruise, I took two tests. The first was negative. Feeling a little disappointed, I went out to the balcony to take some time to myself. Hunter came out afterwards and told me not to be down, and he pointed out the prettiest rainbow in the sky. He said that it was God's way of saying everything was okay. We decided to take a test later that day, and sure enough, there was the faintest positive. We've been awaiting Charlotte's arrival ever since! She is due on May 8, 2026.
So far, Charlotte's given us the gift of her first kick on Christmas. She will have one sibling when she is born, our poodle, Shiloh. And other than that, we can't say too much about about her — whether she'll be into beauty pageants, science, both (or, very possibly, neither). But we do know that she is already well-loved!
